Sarah Brouwer is Associate Pastor for Member Care at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church, and was installed in October of 2011. Prior to serving at Ladue Chapel, Sarah was a Lake Fellow in Parish Ministry at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, IN. She was ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament as a teaching elder in the PC(USA) in June of 2010, while serving Second Church.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN, in 2006, in Studio Art and Art History. Following her undergraduate work, Sarah went on to receive her Master of Divinity degree from Luther Theological Seminary, St. Paul, MN, in 2009, and was the recipient of the A.E. Hanson Prize in Homiletics.
Sarah is married to Ben, who holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs and Environmental and Energy Policy from Indiana University. In their spare time they both enjoy the outdoors. Sarah ran her first marathon in 2010!
