Habitat for Humanity & Ladue Chapel

The Ladue Chapel congregation has helped finance and build numerous homes for struggling families. Reaching out to help those in need is a wonderful tradition in our church and this ministry with Habitat for Humanity is a hands-on example of that commitment.

It is an opportunity for us to make a difference in the life of a family, a neighborhood and a community.

Habitat for Humanity provides equipment and construction professionals are on hand to guide us.

This is an activity for all ages; we have had people as old as 75 and as young as 8 work on this project in past years. It’s a wonderful family activity!

Signup sheets are on the Mission Council bulletin board at the South end of the Gathering Place or you may use our convenient online form to sign up.  If signing up online, please indicate in the "Message" section, that you are signing up to work on the Mission/New Home Construction.   We need at least 10 workers each Saturday; 12 is ideal, and 15 is the maximum.

Jesus' words to his followers, Truly, I say to you, as you did unto one of the least of these my brethren, you did unto me, (Matt. 25:40 RSV), are as meaningful to us today as they were two thousand years ago.

We can make a difference.
