Youth
- Serve as ushers, lectors, acolytes and musicians throughout the year
- Design baptism t-shirts for all children baptized at Ladue Chapel
- Bake communion bread
- Serve Ash Wednesday dinner
- Are recognized in worship upon graduation from high school and college
- Plan and lead a special youth worship service in August, sharing summer mission experiences
STUDY
Youth Sunday School is held on Sundays, September through May, from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. on the Youth Floor in the “Upper Rooms.”
Confirmation – Young persons who wish to become active members of the church attend confirmation class on Sunday afternoons beginning in January and continuing each Sunday through February. MINISTRY WITHIN THE CONGREGATION
- Youth Deacon candidates, recommended in the fall, are trained and ordained to minister to the needs of our members. This may include responding with prayers, visits, phone calls, cards, flowers, meals, and other acts of love and support.
- Youth are given the opportunity to serve on the Mission, Youth Fellowship, Lector, and other committees of the church.
