Loss and grief are feelings which touch us all. Most people think of death when hearing the words "grief" or "loss." However, loss encountered through death is not the only cause of grief. We grieve when we lose friends who move away; or the innocence associated with childhood as we grow older and wiser; we lose our sense of security in economically hard times. The list could go on. Life is so full of change that most of us face loss regularly, although we sometimes don't connect our life experiences with our feelings of grief or loss.
The Grief Support Program at Ladue Chapel is offered as needed throughout the year to help members cope with life changing moments and the grief felt as a result of those moments.
Friends Along The Way: A Journey Toward Recovery From Loss And Grief
“Friends Along the Way” is program at Ladue Chapel for those who are experiencing grief and/or loss in their lives.
Our goal is to give hope to those who are hurting, offer information on many aspects of grief and loss, share concerns and challenges, and discover what helps us to heal.
