Bosch Pipe Organ - 59 ranks, located in the Sanctuary was originally built by the Bosch Company of Germany and installed in 1969. The instrument was rebuilt by W. Zimmer and Sons of North Carolina in 1987. This rebuild of the instrument did not include a new console.
This new console is the generous gift of Mr. Donald Lambert. The Wicks Organ Company of Highland, Illinois built the new console, which includes 6 new digital voices, including two 32' pedal stops, and English tuba, flute celeste, clarinet, and three octaves of chimes. The console is also equipped with a digital transposer, allowing the organist to change keys with the push of a button. The console has play-back capability and is midi-equipped.
The great and pedal division of the organ are located in the front chancel on either side of the window. The swell and choir divisions are located in the left and right sidewalls of the chancel, respectively. The gallery division, located in the rear, is playable from the main console as well as from its own one manual console in the balcony.
The organ contains nearly 3200 pipes, ranging in length from 1/2" to 16 ' long, comprising 59 ranks of pipes.
